In September 2024, HOSOO collaborated once again with SHISEIDO for the renewal of its premier series, FUTURE SOLUTION LX. The packaging of the TOTAL REGENERATING CREAM features fabric crafted by HOSOO. SHISEIDO’s philosophy of combining the power of Japanese nature with brand original technology to embody the essence of Japanese beauty resonates deeply with HOSOO’s approach of harmonizing traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to create timeless beauty. The fabric used in the design draws inspiration from “haku”, a distinctive Nishijin material that gains character with the passage of time, symbolizing the concept of “Ever-evolving beauty”. Through the timeless tradition of Nishijin weaving, which has been passed down for over 1,200 years in Kyoto, this collaboration enriches moments of luxurious self-care by elevating the skincare experience.
