Designed by the giant of hospitality design, HBA, the luxury hotel is located in an intimate district of temples. The resort hotel encompasses an 800-year old ikeniwa (pond garden) at its heart, allowing for guests to quietly enjoy the poetic scenery of Kyoto. Exclusively developed textiles are installed in all guest rooms, suites, and public areas, adding further to the extensive reference to authentic Japanese culture. The hotel celebrated its grand opening in October 2016.
