In cooperation with world reknown ballet dancer Yasuyuki Shuto, HOSOO participated in the development of the scenic art design for Okazaki Loops art festival held in Kyoto. A true collaboration of dance and textile, the large drape of HOSOO fabric 8m wide by 15m high, fused into the costume worn by Shuto, thus becoming one the dancer. Coreography and music was inspired by the concept “woven textiles”, thus strong and lively performances were given by the dancers amidst the modulated sounds of the loom.
